שיר הנושא של הסדרה “I’ll Be There For You” של הרמברנדטס, היה במקום הראשון של מצעד הפופ בשנת 1994. באותה תקופה רשתות השידור דווקא רצו לבטל את שירי הנושא. אגב, לפני שהשיר נבחר הפקת התוכנית שקלה את השיר “Shiny Happy People” של REM.
